A newly built four-room apartment on the 7th floor of the Albert building in Oulu city centre, with views over the rooftops from the glazed balcony. Rotuaari pedestrian street and the Valkea shopping centre are a four-minute walk away, and the railway station is under ten minutes on foot. There are three bedrooms, a large kitchen and living room with a dining table for six, a bathroom with a private sauna and a double shower, and a separate guest WC. One bedroom has a desk with a monitor for remote work. Up to seven guests sleep here. Self check-in, Wi-Fi and a washing machine are included.
The space
The apartment is 81 m² on the 7th floor and was completed in 2023. The main bedroom has a 160 cm double bed. The two other bedrooms each have two 80 cm single beds, and one of them also has a desk with a monitor. A travel bed (80 cm) for the living room makes room for a seventh guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and fridge-freezer, and the dining table seats six. The living room has a sofa and a TV. The bathroom has a double shower, a washing machine and a private sauna you can use at any time during your stay, and there is a separate guest WC. The glazed balcony looks out over the city and has a small table and two chairs.

Getting around
Oulu railway station is about 650 metres away (an eight-minute walk) and the bus station about 500 metres. Oulu Airport is about 20 minutes by car. Parking is not included, but there is free and paid street parking right outside the building; the house manual has the details.
The neighbourhood
Albertinkatu is in the middle of Oulu city centre. Rotuaari pedestrian street and the Valkea shopping centre are about 250 metres away, and the market square by the sea is a seven-minute walk. Restaurants, cafés and shops are all within a few minutes' walk, and Hupisaaret park, with its islands and walking paths, is about a kilometre away.

📕 House Rules. Breaking the rules may result in your stay being cancelled before checkout or additional payments. 🤫 Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00. Please maintain reasonable noise levels throughout your stay. 🎉 While the apartment may seem ideal for hosting parties, please note that our neighbours are very sensitive to noise. If we receive any complaints, we will address them immediately. A written warning from the housing association’s board is a breach of these terms and entitles us to compensation of at least €3,000. You also remain liable for any actual costs exceeding this amount. 🚭 Smoking, vaping, or related activities are not allowed in the apartment, on the balcony, or in the building. Smoking in the apartment is a breach of these terms and entitles us to compensation of at least €1,000. You also remain liable for any actual costs exceeding this amount. 🐶 Pets are welcome, but the pet must be added to your reservation before check-in. Add it on the booking and we will accept it; an additional pet fee applies. 👠 Please remove your shoes at the entrance. This is a cultural practice in Finland and a way to reduce noise and protect property. 👨👨👦👦 All guests must be included in the reservation. No unregistered visitors are permitted. If undeclared guests are found, an additional €50 per person per night will be charged. 🚪 Keep all doors closed and do not let unknown people in. 🧳 Leaving luggage in the building before or after your stay is prohibited. 🕒 Late checkout requires prior approval. If you are still at the apartment after the scheduled checkout time, we will charge a €20 per hour fee. If our cleaner has to wait for you to leave, we will charge an additional €60 per hour. - The washing machine has a water shut-off valve on the tap: lever pointing left = open, lever upright = closed. Open it before you start a wash and close it when the wash is done. The dishwasher water is opened with the button on the tap: press it every time before you start the dishwasher. Do not leave the apartment while the washing machine or the dishwasher is running.
