A newly built three-room apartment on the 5th floor of the Albert building, right in the centre of Oulu. Rotuaari pedestrian street and the Valkea shopping centre are a four-minute walk away, and the railway station is under ten minutes on foot. The apartment has a main bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, an open kitchen and living room with a sofa bed and an extra single bed, a private sauna and a glazed balcony. Up to seven guests sleep here, which suits families, friends travelling together and work teams. Self check-in, Wi-Fi and a washing machine are included.
The space
The apartment is 70 m² and was completed in 2023. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two single beds. The living room has a 160 cm sofa bed and a single bed, so the apartment sleeps up to seven. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, and there is a dining table next to it. The living room has a corner sofa and a TV. The bathroom has a shower, a washing machine and a private sauna you can use at any time during your stay. The glazed balcony has a small table and two chairs.

Getting around
Oulu railway station is about 650 metres away (an eight-minute walk) and the bus station about 500 metres. Oulu Airport is about 20 minutes by car. Parking is not included, but there is free and paid street parking right outside the building; the house manual has the details.
The neighbourhood
Albertinkatu is in the middle of Oulu city centre. Rotuaari pedestrian street and the Valkea shopping centre are about 250 metres away, and the market square by the sea is a seven-minute walk. Restaurants, cafés and shops are all within a few minutes' walk, and Hupisaaret park, with its islands and walking paths, is about a kilometre away.

📕 House Rules. Breaking the rules may result in your stay being cancelled before checkout or additional payments. 🤫 Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00. Please maintain reasonable noise levels throughout your stay. 🎉 While the apartment may seem ideal for hosting parties, please note that our neighbours are very sensitive to noise. If we receive any complaints, we will address them immediately. A written warning from the housing association’s board is a breach of these terms and entitles us to compensation of at least €3,000. You also remain liable for any actual costs exceeding this amount. 🚭 Smoking, vaping, or related activities are not allowed in the apartment, on the balcony, or in the building. Smoking in the apartment is a breach of these terms and entitles us to compensation of at least €1,000. You also remain liable for any actual costs exceeding this amount. 🐶 Pets are welcome, but the pet must be added to your reservation before check-in. Add it on the booking and we will accept it; an additional pet fee applies. 👠 Please remove your shoes at the entrance. This is a cultural practice in Finland and a way to reduce noise and protect property. 👨👨👦👦 All guests must be included in the reservation. No unregistered visitors are permitted. If undeclared guests are found, an additional €50 per person per night will be charged. 🚪 Keep all doors closed and do not let unknown people in. 🧳 Leaving luggage in the building before or after your stay is prohibited. 🕒 Late checkout requires prior approval. If you are still at the apartment after the scheduled checkout time, we will charge a €20 per hour fee. If our cleaner has to wait for you to leave, we will charge an additional €60 per hour. If your late checkout delays the next guest’s check-in, you will be charged the cost of the first night of the next guest’s stay. 🚯 Please keep the apartment tidy. If extra cleaning is required or damage occurs, you will be charged the full cost of cleaning or repairs.

- The washing machine and the dishwasher each have a water shut-off valve on the tap: lever pointing left = open, lever upright = closed. Open the valve before you start a wash and close it when the wash is done. Do not leave the apartment while the washing machine or the dishwasher is running.
